Huw Denman and Philippe Morgan are winners of the ‘Woods for Wales Award 2003’ for the management of Bryn Arau Duon. They were judged winners of the South Wales environmental section for their work on black grouse habitat restoration and on red squirrel preservation. The judges commended their integrated approach to management combining, commercial, environmental and social objectives for which they were awarded the overall prize for Wales presented at the Royal Welsh Show.
